Copic Certified Design Artist

This past weekend, I traveled to Eau Claire, WI to attend some training and certification classes on Copic markers! What a blast I had! First off, the classes were held at "Picture This" scrapbooking store!!! All I can say is "WOW"! This place is HUGE, has terrific selection, the classroom is phenomenal, and the staff is fantabulous (is that a word?, LOL)!!

To top it off, I was able to stay at a scrapbooking retreat, Green Haven Retreat! Not only was this retreat absolutely perfect, but it was right in the same parking lot area from Picture This!!! How perfect is that? Not far to go for classes, shopping pretty much at your finger tips...."WOW"!!

Probably the best part of all? All the instruction offered by Sally Lynn MacDonald! We made some GREAT projects, learned basics of using Copic markers, airbrushing......Sally Lynn is a WONDERFUL, down to earth woman with great talent. I LOVED sharing stories of our kids and our experiences with life in general. What a warm, sweet woman she is!

Actually, the VERY BEST part of all is that I walked away as a Copic Certified Design Artist!! That's right, I can now teach classes with the Copic markers and products! So, I will be taking a few weeks to practice up, get some classes together, and also put together a Copic Club (details to follow)! The artwork that can be attained with these gems is unbelievable. The key is knowing HOW to use them, what can go wrong, etc.
