Almost there!!

I am so incredibly excited! After over a month and a half of hard work and LOTS of hours, My Creative Clubhouse is almost there! Almost ready to share with all the scrapbookers, stampers, card makers, and paper crafters out there! Here are a few pictures of how things are progressing:
Here are all 60 colors of solid cardstock ready to use. On top of the shelving units, there are two ScrapRacks filled with OVER 750 CLEAR acrylic stamp sets to be used within the clubhouse. These sets will cover just about any theme you might need. Not a stamper? Let ME show you how to take your projects to new heights of creativity! You will be amazed an how stamping can bring your projects to life!
This is the "Cricut Creation Station" where the Cricut Expression die cutting machine is connected to the computer that has Cricut Design Studio software loaded. There is also a Jukebox ready and waiting to make this experience the best it can be! With the Cricut Expression, Cricut Design Studio software, and the Jukebox, the creative possibilities are absolutely endless!
We have a HUGE selection of Cricut cartridges for use at the clubhouse or you may rent them; $10.00 for 48 hours. Limit 1 cartridge at a time. If we don't have it, it's probably on Pre-Order!
Look at THAT calendar! It's filling up quickly with LOTS of fun things. We will begin with Technique Tuesday on Tuesday, June 2nd. You can choose between 10 am - Noon or 6 pm - 8 pm. The SAME technique will be taught at both sessions. Want to see what we will be making?
HERE IT IS! This adorable card was designed by my VERY talented friend, Tracy Stahl! Tracy has been a godsend to me while trying to balance my responsibilities at my auto repair shop (Auto Pro), getting the clubhouse open, and the ever demanding rolls of wife & mother! This adorable card will be made while teaching Versamark techniques! The cost for this Technique Tuesday is $3.00 per person! Be sure to reserve YOUR spot, space IS limited! You may reserve your spot by calling (262) 338-CLUB (2582) (please leave a message if I am not there to answer) OR by emailing mycreativeclubhouse@yahoo.com!

It's Coming Along...........slowly...........

Well, here are some new pictures! It is coming along nicely, and I cannot WAIT to share my creative space with all of you! We are going to have a blast!
It is really looking GREAT, but I am patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for two electricians to get back to me with pricing because the lighting is HORRIBLE right now. And we all know, lighting is soooooo important!
So, I just wanted to share some new photos with
you, let you know I am working hard to get this together for ALL of us to enjoy! I am putting in long hours, but it will be so worth it in the long run. I know there will be many great memories made in My Creative Clubhouse! Not to mention all the great creations I'm sure will be made as well.

So, hang tight with me. You will not be disappointed (I hope). And, if you are, I am open to suggestions because I want this to be THE place to be for creating!

Still a Delay...........

Well, I hate to say it, but the clubhouse is not yet ready to share. We are working so hard to make it an awesome place to be for creating. Please be patient, and rather than giving a date of when it will be ready, I will say there will be a post and flyers mailed out when it is ready to share. I'm just as anxious as the rest of you, but hang tight. I promise it will be well worth the wait!

Working VERY hard to get this ready to share!

This is my office door. It is sweet leaf on the inside to match my office. The outside is being painted to match the walls running around the entire clubhouse. It is blush on top, white daisy on the bottong and will have a stripe of chocolate running through it just like the door off to the left of the picture in the background.
F This is the far back wall of the clubhouse. You can see the doorway to my office on the far right. There is a mirro and slat board on this wall.

And here is the AMAZING shelving unit that we turned on it's side and made shelves to put all the colors of my solid cardstock into! Thank you Uncle Squeak, Lane and Lance! Job WELL DONE! I LOVE IT!
So, we are working hard. My family (Lane, Uncle Squeak and my boys) have been so incredibly helpful in making my dream a reality! I can't tell you how very blessed I am!
Today I will be doing some touch up painting, painting of the fixtures I plan to use, and hopefully I will be moving things in soon. I so can't wait to share "My Creative Clubhouse" with everyone. This truly is MY happy place!

Opening Delayed by One Week!

Well, my intended opening day was Tuesday, May 5th. However, we decided to knock down a wall, rip out carpeting, lay new flooring, and that created more painting work.

So, unfortunately, it looks like my opening has been delayed about a week to Tuesday, May 12th. I promise it will be well worth the wait though!

Here is a sneak peek at the colors I have chosen to help inspire our creativity! The top is blush, the bottom, white daisy, and the accents are chocolate! My office is a calming sweet leaf, also with chocolate accents!

As we get more and more done, I get more and more excited about this! I cannot wait to share My Creative Clubhouse with all my creative friends!
This is a picture of the shelving unit that is being overhauled to hold my cardstock! Lane, my uncle and Lance are working hard to divide it off to fit my needs.
They, along with LucasJon, have been so awesome in helping me to get things done. We have put in a TON of hours, and are still not done.
Stay posted though! I am very excited to share my dream with others. We will have so much fun together!

Here it is! My Dream come TRUE!

As some of you may know, I am in the process of renovating a space that will be known as "My Creative Clubhouse" and this is the blog to follow if you want to know more! Yes, you guessed it! No more setting up tables every time I want to have a class, workshop, club, crop, etc. No more bumping elbows because space is limited. No more digging out the Cricut Expression from the storage cabinet and TRYING to find an outlet and a safe place to put it each time I want to use it. No more, no more, no more!

I am in the process of setting up AT LEAST fifteen 6 foot tables for classes, workshops, clubs, crops, etc. A Cricut Expression work area that will allow my Cricut Expression to be hooked into a computer FULL TIME that will have Cricut Design Studio loaded to maximize our creative capabilities. I will have a "De-Stressing Zone" especially for that messy distressing task that makes our projects look so awesome, and yet makes such a mess on our work area.

And there is more! A table & chair set to sit and view my library of idea books I have accumulated over the years when you just need a cup of coffee, water, soda, snack or whatever to give you a little break from the creative process. I will have an incredibly cute two pot coffee maker in PINK thanks to my dear friend Wendi! So, coffee for those who want it, and hot water for those who wish to have tea!

I will have on display for everyone's use my collection of OVER 700 acrylic stamp sets! That's right, OVER 700 CLEAR stamp sets to help get your creative juices flowing! I will have clear blocks, at least sixty different color inks (2 complete sets mind you), and just about anything else you will need to walk in and start being creative! Heck, other than your pictures, you shouldn't need a thing!

I am hoping to get things rolling by Tuesday, May 5th! Hope to see you all there to have fun, create and connect with others who share your passion. And let's not forget those of you who have been looking for some help or guidance to START creating. I will have classes & workshops to accomodate the beginner to the advanced crafter!

Be sure to follow my blog to see what is up and coming!
