Happy Birthday Ellie Scott!

This coming Saturday, Ellie Scott will be celebrating her birthday at My Creative Clubhouse! Ellie wanted a project that was an "Under the Sea" theme, and specifically wanted a whale and seahorse included. I had a GREAT time designing this, so I hope she and her guests have fun making these and taking them home!



I totally love the "pearl necklace" and the "gold coins" I added to the treasure chest! This was a LOT of fun to design. It is a dry erase, so the kids can write on these, and then wipe them off again!

I really enjoy the different birthday party projects I have been able to design for the birthday parties here!

Next month I have another birthday scheduled, so be watching for the Dog & Cat themed mini album!

I created a card using our a pattern from one of our "How-To" program books "Wishes". The pattern used was "On the Edge", page 53. I also used one of the NEW paper packs from the Spring 2010 Idea Book "You Rock". These colors are so vibrant! I just love them!

I also combined my Technique of the Week, "Decorated Pretties" into this card. Dual purpose! You know what they say, "work smarter, not harder!"

February Scrap Class-Our Love

"Our Love", February's Scrap Class will be held on Thursday, February 18th at either 10 am - Noon OR 6 pm - 8 pm. Cost per person is $15.00. **Pre-Payment, Pre-Registration is required at least 24 hours in advance.

If you are unable to attend the class but would like to purchase the pre-cut kit to assemble at home, you may also do that. The price for the kit is also $15.00. Please call ahead to assure that your kit is cut and ready for you.

Herringbone-Technique of the Week Feb. 8th - Feb. 12th

The week of February 8th through February 12th, visit My Creative Clubhouse and learn the Herringbone technique. This creations was made with the NEW Caboodle Level 2 Paper Packet, and also NEW, My Acrylix Stamp Set "State of Mind".

Happy New Year!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm thinking this is one chilly start to the new year! Since I have joined Weight Watcher's (again), I have to watch how much hot cocoa with marshmallows I allow myself to chase away the chill! I am looking forward to a fantastic 2010! I am focusing on My Creative Clubhouse and my Close To My Heart businesses! They make a GREAT combination! Be sure to read all the way through to find the AMAZING collection available to celebrate NATIONAL PAPERCRAFTING MONTH!

What's New?

How about the release of the SPRING 2010 CLOSE TO MY HEART IDEA BOOK! Yes, it is here!! Be sure to see me at My Creative Clubhouse to get YOUR copy!!

Many things are stirring at My Creative Clubhouse. I am so excited about the new year. This month, I will be developing the Copic marker classes. This is going to be SO much fun! Keep your eyes open for more information. This will be a monthly class offered at the clubhouse. Each month we will have a combination of three shades of a color and learn how to properly use these fantastic artist quality alcohol based markers to shade and highlight and bring your stamped images to life! Classes will begin in February.

A new calendar club will begin sometime in March or April. Those of you that were a part of the calendar club in 2009 and still need to complete your calendars, please give me a call to set up a time! Everything is ready and waiting for you!

Technique of the Week will continue. That's right, continue to have the opportunity to learn a new technique EACH WEEK! Only $5.00 for this class offered throughout the week.

Kid's Stamp Camp will again take place this summer, only it's a New & Improved format! Details will be on their way as they develop! As with last summer's camp, there will be two age groups 8-12 and 13-18! Spread the word, this Stamp Camp was so much fun, I can't wait to start it again.
