July 2011 Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

Welcome to the July 2011 Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! Is it really July already?  This month in the United States, we will be featuring American Celebration, a set of 12 festive stamps. The really fun part about this blog hop is that our Canadian consultants will have a completely different stamp set to share with us! So don't become confused when you see artwork with a different stamp set...

If you have come here from Dawn Ross' Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all the way around.

This month we have over 60 talented Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

These are the images of the American Celebration stamp set.  As you can see, this is VERY fun & patriotic.

A friend of mine, Ann Crites, came to visit me at My Creative Clubhouse and showed me an adorable card that had a waving flag inside.  I HAD to recreate it and use it for this month's blog hop.  I had a LOT of fun creating my own random stamped paper using the stamp set, and this is what I came up with....

Now "hop" on over to Dawn Heuft's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some AWESOME  crafting ideas! We all love to hear your feed back, so don't be shy, leave us a little love :)

Remember, the July SOTM is only available until July 31, 2011! Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount or even free!

If you would like more details on the products and techniques I used to create this card, please read on.

The inside of this card was created with white daisy cardstock and the sky exclusive inks stamp pad using the "leathering" technique.  This is a fun, easy technique I learned at one of the corporate sponsored events I have attended in the past.  I then flipped my cardstock over and random stamped the different images from American Celebration using several different ink colors and a combination of 1st and 2nd generation stamping.

I hope you have enjoyed this card!
