Happy New Year!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm thinking this is one chilly start to the new year! Since I have joined Weight Watcher's (again), I have to watch how much hot cocoa with marshmallows I allow myself to chase away the chill! I am looking forward to a fantastic 2010! I am focusing on My Creative Clubhouse and my Close To My Heart businesses! They make a GREAT combination! What's New?

How about the release of the SPRING 2010 CLOSE TO MY HEART IDEA BOOK! Yes, it is here!! Be sure to see me at My Creative Clubhouse to get YOUR copy!!

Many things are stirring at My Creative Clubhouse. I am so excited about the new year. This month, I will be developing the Copic marker classes. This is going to be SO much fun! Keep your eyes open for more information. This will be a monthly class offered at the clubhouse. Each month we will have a combination of three shades of a color and learn how to properly use these fantastic artist quality alcohol based markers to shade and highlight and bring your stamped images to life! Classes will begin in February.

A new calendar club will begin sometime in March or April. Those of you that were a part of the calendar club in 2009 and still need to complete your calendars, please give me a call to set up a time! Everything is ready and waiting for you!

Technique of the Week will continue. That's right, continue to have the opportunity to learn a new technique EACH WEEK! Only $5.00 for this class offered throughout the week.

Kid's Stamp Camp will again take place this summer, only it's a New & Improved format! Details will be on their way as they develop! As with last summer's camp, there will be two age groups 8-12 and 13-18! Spread the word, this Stamp Camp was so much fun, I can't wait to start it again.

January Blog Hop!

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010 EVERYONE!! I hope you all have a WONDERFUL year, and I look forward to sharing it with you! Now, onto what you have all been waiting for, the FIRST Stamp of the Month for 2010!

This month's SOTM is called True Friends (D1406) and it is an amazing set of 11 stamps. I hope you'll hop along with us. I cannot wait to see all of the artwork created by my incredibly talented Close to My Heart "sistahs" as we like to call ourselves!

Ring in the NEW YEAR!!

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I have been in a bit of a slump lately, but I am VERY MUCH looking forward to an exciting 2010!! I am working hard to get the January calendar prepared and posted, as well as get other things together.

In 2010 we will be adding a Copic Marker Club!!! Yep, I went to Eau Claire, WI for certification with these awesome markers and am looking forward to bringing classes your way. I have put a lot of time into finding the closest colors I could to the Close To My Heart color palette so that all of our artwork we create with the Close To My Heart products will be as beautiful as can be. So, be sure to watch for upcoming details. The club will start in February, but the deadline to sign up for the first class will be in January. I have to order the markers, and since they are high quality and not inexpensive, I will ONLY order for those that have paid for and reserved their spots. At February's class, you will receive the information for the March class, but it will need to be paid for in February..........

Anyway, there will be another calendar club that will begin in March or April, be watching for that information as well.

The kits of the month this Idea Book cycle are AMAZING! I am having a WONDERFUL time getting the samples together so that you may physically see how beautiful they are. I think I am in love with ALL FOUR new paper packs this go 'round!

Ohhhhh, and do I have something GREAT to share with all of you SOON! I have also been busy playing with Studio J! It is still in it's BETA form being tested by the Close To My Heart Consultants, but should be released this spring for all of our customers. You will LOVE this! I will never fully be a Studio (digital) scrapbooker because I like the feel of the products in my hands, but this sure is a great alternative to play catch up, to make a gift, to experiment with. However, if you ARE into Studio (digital) scrapbooking, you are going to LOVE this product!! NO upfront costs, NO downloading software to your computer, you pay NOTHING to try to product out, to create your artwork.......you ONLY pay when you ORDER your finished product! It's sooooo exciting, I cannot wait to share it with you!

So, although I have been MIA (missing in action), I am gearing up for a FANTABULOUS (yeah I know, it's not a REAL word) year in 2010.
